Accessibility
Last updated: October 9, 2026
We want everyone to be able to use diamond.plumbing, including people who use a keyboard, a screen reader, magnification or other assistive technology. We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA.
What we have done
- Every page can be used with a keyboard, with a visible focus outline and a "Skip to main content" link.
- Text and controls were checked to meet WCAG AA colour contrast in both the light and the dark theme.
- Form fields have visible labels. Errors are described in words next to the field and announced to screen readers.
- Images have text alternatives; purely decorative graphics are hidden from screen readers.
- The moving rain and other looping animations can be stopped with the "Pause animations" button, and they stop automatically if your device is set to reduce motion.
- The website follows your device's light or dark setting, works when zoomed to 200% and on small screens without sideways scrolling.
Known limitations
- The website has not yet been audited by an independent accessibility specialist.
- So far we have checked the page code and the colour contrast. We have not yet completed hands-on testing in every browser or with screen readers such as VoiceOver and NVDA.
- Some animations respond to scrolling. They carry no information, and the "Pause animations" button and your device's reduce-motion setting both keep them still.
