By using the website you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use the website.

These terms cover the website only. Any plumbing work is covered by a separate written contract (see section 4).

2. Information on this website

The website gives general information about Diamond Plumbing and our experience. It is not an offer, a quote or professional advice for your project, and it may not be complete or up to date. Please contact us before relying on it.

The "Our Canadian history" section describes work carried out in Ontario, Canada, by our Canadian company, Blue Diamond Plumbing Inc. Past projects are not a guarantee of the outcome of any future project.

3. Licensing

In California, we carry out contracting work only as permitted by our California contractor's license, CSLB No. [license number — add before launch]. You can check any contractor's license with the Contractors State License Board at cslb.ca.gov. The Ontario licences and certifications described on this website are held by Blue Diamond Plumbing Inc. for work in Ontario and do not apply in California.

4. Quotes, contracts, payments and refunds

• This website does not sell products or services and does not take payments.
• Sending the contact form is a request for information. It does not create a contract and does not oblige you or us to do anything.
• Any price we give before a written contract is signed by both parties is an estimate.
• Work is governed by a written contract signed by you and us. That contract sets out the scope, price, schedule, payments, warranties, cancellation and refunds, together with any notices and rights required by law, such as a right to cancel where it applies.
• Because there are no online sales, there is no separate online refund policy. Refunds, if any, are handled under your written contract and applicable law.

5. Using the website

Please don't misuse the website. In particular, don't:

• send false information, spam, or someone else's personal information without their permission through the contact form;
• try to gain unauthorized access to the website or its server, or interfere with how it works;
• upload or send malicious code;
• copy large parts of the website, or use automated tools to collect information from it, without our permission.

6. Intellectual property

The text, the Diamond Plumbing name and logo, the illustrations and the design of this website belong to us or are used with permission. You may view and print pages for your own, non-commercial use. Please don't otherwise copy or reuse them without our written permission.

The fonts (Bricolage Grotesque and DM Sans) are used under the SIL Open Font License, and the GSAP animation library under its own license. Client and project names mentioned on this website are the names and trademarks of their respective owners. Mentioning them does not mean they endorse or are affiliated with us.

The website links to other websites, including diamondplumbing.ca (operated by Blue Diamond Plumbing Inc.). We are not responsible for the content or practices of websites we don't operate.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited by law, and these terms don't change our responsibilities under a written contract for work.

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Any rights you have under the consumer-protection laws of the place where you live are not affected.

11. Changes

We may update these terms. The date at the top shows when they last changed. The version in place when you use the website applies.
